FCA GOALS

- Quantify the safe levels of the individual’s functional abilities.
- Assess the person's consistency of effort, work behavior or presence of symptom magnification.
- Compare the patient's physical abilities to the demands of the job.
- Determine need for further treatment.
- Identify reasonable accommodations and job modifications where necessary.

Who Benefits from the FCA?

The Patient:
Most patients do not understand their abilities or limitations following injury. The testing benefits the individual by providing understanding of physical abilities and reducing fear of return to work.

The Physician:

Assists in establishing realistic work restrictions and impairment ratings. The results provide objective quantification of effort.

The Employer:

Clear work restrictions, accommodations and guidelines are provided to assist in a safe return to normal employment.

The Insurance Company:

Case closure. Research indicates only 3% of all test subjects encountered in FCA testing are willfully attempting to falsify their injury for a higher monetary gain.

The Attorney:

Both the Plaintiff and the Defense Attorneys can benefit from the FCA report to establish case strategies and parameters.
